About Unlearning Racism: Tools for Action©

Eliminating racism is an ongoing process that involves a willingness to learn about, and begin, undoing, the adverse impact of racism on individuals, organizations, and communities.

Unlearning Racism: Tools for Action©, our six-part, 24-hour education series affords participants the opportunity to learn about the impact, history, manifestations, whiteness, and addressing racism in one’s sphere of influence.

This six-part workshop series examines the history and impact of racism and what participants can do about it. We invite people to collaborate with classmates on their next steps in addressing issues in their neighborhoods, workplaces, and community.

“As an individual who came into the class feeling they were fairly well socialized in a diverse way, those notions were very much brought into question. I very much feel this class is a resource that should be taken advantage of by everybody. ” – Unlearning Racism: Tools for Action© Course participant
