We believe a just and empowered world is a healthy and safe world – and that requires that women are healthy and safe. When women and families we serve are affected by sexual assault or domestic violence, we provide prompt, private referral to Sojourner Family Peace Center or other appropriate experts in our community.

We also believe that women’s health and safety is fundamentally affected by social determinants of health, like healthy eating and access to preventative tools (to name a few).  In fact, we have a broader perspective – that social determinants of health are directly linked to economic empowerment and racial justice.  Read more
