IMPORTANT EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT

YWCA SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN ANNOUNCES VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE FOR 25TH ANNUAL CIRCLE OF WOMEN: FACE OF THE FUTURE

Reimagined event will include extraordinary online experience on April 23rd  paired with IRL capstone celebration of silver anniversary in Fall 2020

MILWAUKEE – Out of respect for community health, YWCA Southeast Wisconsin’s 25th Anniversary of Circle of Women: Face of the Future, scheduled for April 23, 2020, will not be held as originally planned.  However, the organization will celebrate Face of the Future with an online celebration on April 23rd coupled with an in-person mission-focused experience in the fall of 2020.

“Current health concerns are truly serious and all of us at YWCA SEW are committed to taking appropriate steps to keep ourselves and our community safe,” noted Interim President & CEO, Ginny Finn.  “For over 125 years, YWCA SEW has been all about building and supporting genuinely connected community, often in the face of intimidating obstacles.  With our re-imagined event, our stakeholders and sponsors – all of whom are loyal supporters of our mission – will still be able to enjoy the camaraderie and collective impact they value.”

Event sponsors, table captains and already committed guests will receive complete information in the coming week with a public announcement of the celebration’s details and registration steps published the week of March 23rd.   YWCA SEW is grateful to its event co-chairs Deborah Allen DBA and Gary Hollander PhD, as well as the event’s leadership team – Libby Castro, Marquita Hicks, Jasmine Johnson, and Melissa Ugland – as well as its Board of Directors, for their creativity and commitment to moving forward in difficult times.

Kimberley Noon, YWCA SEW’s Board Chair reflected, “We are really committing to our theme, Face of the Future.  Hosting a virtual event is a fresh experience that we believe our guests will thoroughly enjoy, especially as we pair it with the personal celebration this coming fall.  Twenty-five years ago, Circle of Women re-defined women’s philanthropy in this region; we are doing so again this year.”

For sponsorship information or to join in the celebration please contact TrenLan Krueger (414) 267-3210 or visit our website www.ywcasew.org/circle.
