A Message from the CEO

The world has changed; our mission hasn’t…

YWCA SEW is more committed than ever to eliminating racism and empowering women, and we’re taking an even more progressive approach to delivering upon this mission.

We are renewing our efforts to use education as a driver of change – to create greater opportunities and level the playing field for everyone. Over the coming months, we will be launching many new and impactful offerings to work towards racial justice and gender equality.

We continue this journey with an acknowledgment that the systems that need to change begin with the people upholding those systems; we are delighted to support more people in being the change they want to see in the world. Begin this world-changing journey with us here…

Tracy Williams, CEO & President, YWCA SEW

What We Do

Eliminating Racism…

As one of the most segregated states in the country, racism pervades every aspect of many peoples’ lives.

Our mission today remains even more relevant as the impacts of racial inequalities and systemic oppression continue to disadvantage and harm many members of our community, often by design.

Empowering Women…

YWCA SEW is committed to creating a more just, fair and equal world for all genders.

We also know that, historically, women have been the most excluded, disadvantaged and discriminated against and continue to feel the impacts of this in our community, especially in the workplace.
