Circle of Women: Empowering Truth

Join Honorary co-chairs Cecelia Gore of the Milwaukee Brewers Community Foundation, Inc. and Geneva Johnson, a Distinguished Retiree for our most distinctive Circle of Women celebration yet! This special event will be a capstone evening marking our 125th Anniversary!

On April 18th we will enjoy a festive celebration that marks the 125th anniversary of YWCA Southeast Wisconsin. This year's theme is: "Circle of Women: Empowering Truth". With emphasis on the theme for the evening, we will showcase the impact of empowering women.

"Circle of Women: Empowering Truth" will be held at the Milwaukee Art Museum from 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. beginning with a lively social hour and transitioning to a seated dinner and a special program.

Due to capacity, registration is now closed!

This premier event will showcase the impact of empowering women in our community by:

  • Providing reliable transportation, credit repair and personal financial management
  • Offering interview training, resume assistance and soft skills development
  • Supporting adult learners to obtain their HSED or GED, preparing them for better paying jobs and more education
  • Delivering racial justice programs and workshops that help build a more inclusive community
